This Privacy Policy explains how NOVA SHOP collects, uses, and shares personal information when an adult visits the storefront, contacts us, or follows a link to purchase a story. The storefront is hosted by Shopify. US story purchases are completed through Hotmart.

Depending on how you interact with the website, we may process:

  • Contact and support information, such as name, email address, story title, transaction number, and the content of a message.
  • Purchase and transaction information received from Hotmart when needed to identify a purchase, support access, prevent fraud, respond to a refund request, or meet legal obligations. This may include name, email, product, payment status, transaction identifier, and country or region.
  • Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed, interactions, approximate location derived from an IP address, and cookie or similar identifiers.

NOVA SHOP does not need a full payment-card number to support a story purchase. Payment details entered on Hotmart are handled by Hotmart and its payment providers under their own terms and privacy notices.

3. Sources of information

We may receive information directly from you, automatically through the storefront, from Shopify, from Hotmart when connected to a purchase or support request, and from service providers that help operate, secure, analyze, or promote the website.

4. How information is used

  • Identify a purchase and help resolve digital-access or refund questions.

Microsoft processes this information under its own privacy terms.

Meta Pixel is active on the storefront and may collect browser, device, event, and interaction data to measure advertising performance and, where permitted, support advertising. Meta processes this information under its own privacy terms.

Available cookie or privacy controls may depend on location, browser settings, and Shopify settings. Disabling some technologies may affect storefront features.

6. When information may be shared

We may share personal information with service providers only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including:

  • Shopify, which hosts and operates the storefront.
  • Hotmart, which operates the US story checkout, payment-confirmation, and digital-access process.
  • Microsoft Clarity for website analytics and diagnostics.
  • Meta for advertising measurement and related services where permitted.
  • Technical, security, support, legal, and professional service providers.
  • Government or legal authorities when disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, users, or the service.

Each provider may process information under its own terms and privacy notices. We may also disclose information in connection with a business transaction as permitted by law.

7. Purchases through Hotmart

When you select a Hotmart checkout link, you leave the NOVA SHOP storefront. Hotmart may collect and process the information entered on its checkout and buyer platforms. Review the notices shown by Hotmart before completing a purchase.

8. Children’s privacy

The stories are designed for children to enjoy with a parent or caregiver, but the storefront and checkout are directed to adults. Children should not submit personal information or make purchases. If you believe a child provided personal information directly to NOVA SHOP without appropriate authorization, contact us so that we can review the request.

9. Retention and security

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including support, security, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and the provider involved.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details, or other sensitive payment information by email.
